Athens’ compost is a blend of organics material including a mix of green waste, wood waste, and food scraps.* Our compost is STA Certified by the US Compost Council.

Please note this event is for Santa Paula residents only (proof of residency or ID required).

  • Self-service, drive-up event (no walk-ins)
  • Bring shovels, a dolly, and sturdy containers
  • No plastic or paper bags
  • No container larger than 32 gallons due to safety and weight concerns
  • Available while supplies last
