Harry Kazarian can trace his roots in the waste industry to the 1950s with his grandfather. When he came of age, Harry continued the family tradition in the trash industry by joining his cousin’s company, Foothill Waste (later acquired by Athens Services).
When he began his career with Athens, he was a dispatcher. But soon he recognized that there was a large roll-off construction and demolition (C&D) market that Athens had yet to become a part of. Harry boldly led the charge and Athens began providing roll-off trucks for construction and demolition service.
Armed with his extensive experience and contacts in the waste industry, personal charisma, and newfound focus, Harry joined Athens’ sales force, with C&D roll-offs as his niche.
Today, he leads Athens’ C&D efforts. Harry exemplifies The Athens Way by bringing exceptional, personalized service to his many customers. As a LEED Green Associate, he guides them in their diversion efforts with an eye for sustainability.
“Folks come back to us time and time again because of our excellent service and flexibility,” Harry says. “We prioritize service and making our customers feel at ease, instead of just focusing on straight business.”
Harry provides his customers with peace of mind, knowing that they will be able to meet government mandates and sustainability goals, as Athens consistently achieves the highest diversion percentage locally.
Harry takes ownership of his work. He is consistent and friendly, always providing personal service. He
has the knowledge and extensive experience our C&D customers can depend upon.
We appreciate Harry for his ingenuity, dedication, and for perfectly exemplifying our philosophy, The Athens Way – Service, People, and Environment.
