How Athens Team Members Exceed Customer Expectations

Athens Services Customer Service Week: Lizette Saavedra

Waste and recycling professionals work hard every day to protect the environment for all of us. We’ve all seen the drivers who collect our waste and recycling, but there are many more workers behind the scenes. All of them deserve our thanks for the work they do.

Athens Services Digital Care Agent Alejandra Tapia

CUSTOMER SERVICE / DIGITAL CARE TEAM

ALEJANDRA TAPIA — TEAM MEMBER SINCE 2021

ABOUT ALEJANDRA:

My responsibilities involve taking care of the Roll-Off queue and responding to all emails. I also assist with online CS, bulky pickup emails and live chats. I love learning about the trash industry. I am relatively new to this industry and wasn’t aware of all the important services we provide. It’s a lot more than just picking up trash!

My favorite memory was when an elderly customer called in to thank one of our drivers. Her husband had a long battle with cancer and our driver would lend an extra hand to make sure their barrels were serviced. She wanted to make sure our driver got the recognition he deserved. It made me realize, that you may think that your just doing your job, but you can make a big difference in someone’s life.

When not delivering great service, you can find Alejandra spending time with friends and family or taking a well deserved nap.
