What is the holiday schedule?

Athens Services is closed in observance of the following federal holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day (customers in the City of Los Angeles recycLA program will not have a delay in service on Memorial Day), Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. If one of these holidays fall on Monday to Friday, collection services will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. For example, if New Year’s Day falls on a Monday, Athens will pick up on Tuesday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday there will be no delay in service.
