COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP DAY FREE DROP-OFF EVENT

Saturday, October 7, 2023 8:00 am – 12:00 pm George Elder Park 1950 Wilcox Ave. Monterey Park, CA 91754 The City of Monterey Park and Athens Services are hosting a clean-up event for residents. Please keep the following in mind:

• Monterey Park residents only (ID or bill required)
• This is a drive-in and drop-off event

Participation in the event and all items accepted are at your own risk. It is the attendees’ responsibility to practice safe lifting and take all protective measures to guard against injury or any other loss. BULKY ITEMS Furniture, rugs, mattresses, and appliances (Acceptable appliances include microwaves, toaster ovens, washers, dryers, water heaters, and furnaces. Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners are accepted with freon removed.) ELECTRONIC WASTE Televisions, printers, computers, power cords, and other electronic devices NO HAZARDOUS WASTE No batteries, bulbs, paint, oil, medical, toxic, liquid waste, tires or construction debris (Hazardous waste can be taken to a Los Angeles County collection event or permanent center for proper disposal) For more information, please contact the City of Monterey Park Public Works Department at (626) 307-1320.
