HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DAY Door-to-Door Collection Date: Saturday, October 15, 2022 Athens Services is providing a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) event for the residents of Palos Verdes Estates. Items must be placed on the porch by 7:00 a.m. on collection day. Schedule a Collection: Contact Customer Service at (888) 336-6100 IMPORTANT TIPS You must call by Thursday, October 13 to schedule a collection. All items placed for collection must be documented. A complete list of items and quantities will be required. Collection fee: a fee of $35.00 is charged to schedule a pick-up. What will be collected: the program provides pick-up and proper disposal for fluorescent light bulbs, oil, paint, household/car batteries, and antifreeze. COLLECTION LOCATION Items must be placed for collection on your porch by 7:00 a.m. For safety reasons DO NOT place items at the curb or your container storage area. OFFICE HOURS 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday) 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Saturday) HOLIDAY SCHEDULE REMINDER Holidays create a one-day delay in collection service.
