COMPOST GIVEAWAY

Athens’ compost is a blend of organic materials, including green waste, wood waste, and food scraps*.
Our compost is OMRI Listed® and STA Certified by the US Compost Council.
*May contain small particles of glass.

  • Self-service event
  • Bring shovels and a dolly
  • Bring sturdy containers
  • No plastic or paper bags
  • Drive up only, no walk-ins
  • Available while supplies last
  • Limit of 30 gallons per participant

SHRED EVENT

Protect your personal information by bringing confidential documents for secure onsite shredding.
This is a free service provided by the City of Covina.

  • Drive-thru service
  • Remove documents from binders
  • Bring documents in a bag – no boxes
  • Staples and clips ok
  • No business waste
  • Available until capacity is reached
  • Limit of 3 large trash bags per participant
