Mini Mr Sun Nightborhood Clean Up Program

To “SHINE UP NORWALK,”

the City of Norwalk will host a Mini Mr. Sun Neighborhood Clean-Up Program,
at NO COST TO RESIDENTS.

Place items where Athens Services does their regularly scheduled trash container pick-up (curb or alley) between 8:00am through 11:00am.

Clean Up Day

Below are examples of items that Athens Services will take:

  • Furniture
  • Mattresses
  • Appliances
  • Scrap Metal
  • Green Waste (Tree clippings)
  • Electronics
  • Tires
  • Wood
  • Drywall

Target Area

Area is between Cheshire St. and northside of Alondra Blvd, between Claretta Ave and Bloomfield Ave in the City of Norwalk.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT
HAZAROUS WASTE

Examples:

  • Paint – Can or Spray type
  • Oils – Motor, Cooking, etc.
  • Concrete , Used Oil Filters
  • Propane Tanks or Fuel
  • Fluorescent Tube Lamps
  • Adhesives (Epoxy, Glue)
  • Cleaning Products
  • Insecticides, Fertilizers
  • Pool chemicals
  • Stains and varnishes
  • Transmission and brake fluid
  • Antifreeze, Solvents
  • Car batteries, Medicines
