All items placed for collection must be documented. A complete list of items and quantities will be required.

Collection fee: a fee of $35.00 is charged to schedule a pick-up. What will be collected: the program provides pick-up and proper disposal for fluorescent light bulbs, oil, paint, household/car batteries, and antifreeze

Collection Date: Saturday, November 9, 2024 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Athens Services is providing a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection event for the residents of Palos Verdes Estates (proof of residency, ID, or bill required).

Holidays create a one-day delay in collection service. Holidays observed by Athens include:

Waste collection service will continue as usual and there will not be any delay if a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday.
