Event Information
- Thousand Oaks residents who are current Athens customers ONLY
- Valid ID to show proof of residency required
- Residents can bring up to two (2) loads per event using a vehicle no larger than a five (5) passenger automobile or a pickup truck
- NO trailers
- NO commercial waste
- All loads must be tarped pursuant to California state
law - NO commercial vehicles or landscaping companies
- NO hazardous waste. For hazardous waste disposal make a free appointment at TOaks.gov/HHW
- NO late entry
Acceptable Items
- Household trash
- Appliances
- Tires (no rims, limit 5)
- Construction & Demolition materials
- Wood waste & green waste
- Uncontaminated dirt/soil
- Clean asphalt or concrete
Not Acceptable
- Hazardous material
- Electronic waste (TVs, computer monitors, cell phones, etc.)
- Fluorescent light tubes & ballasts
- Liquids & water-soluble solids
- Biological/medical waste/sharps
- Septic tank or chemical toilet waste
- Automobile bodies
- Business waste
